I am an artist and photographer from Sweden, and have lived in New York since 2008. One of the great things about working as a photographer in this city is the people I get to meet, of all ages.
I have an MFA from the School of Photography at the Gothenburg University in Sweden, but my artistic background also includes painting, print and sculpture, which has given me a less traditional approach to photography. In my work, I view light, shadow, space and movement as equally important factors in creating the best image possible.
When photographing children, it’s important for me to really relate to them as individuals and make each photo session unique. I look for real smiles, for serious faces as well as laughs. I want to portray the moments when your children are showing their own, true personalities.
